The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) was faced with a data growth and capacity issue. Data Management for their financial systems along with the commercial bank data had grown significantly over the past 10 years. They were also challenged with a substantial increase in data requests from their internal clients (ECCB) and external clients (IMF, banks, countries), making it increasingly difficult to perform day to day tasks.
To support their business growth and capacity needs, ECCB underwent a digital transformation. In this presentation we show how ECCB modernized from an excel based legacy system to a self-service, robust system powered by SAS® Viya®. We talk about the business issues that inspired the change and how we solved those issues.
