At Zencos, Maria provides software development and technical leadership from project assessment through delivery. She enjoys teaming with customers and transforming requirements into applications which improve their business processes.
With 20+ years of experience, she has always had a passion for coding and solving complex problems. Maria has worked with customers from a wide range of industries including banking, insurance, health care, and government. Recently, as part of the Zencos team on a central bank project, she built a flexible, multi-threaded back-end process for consolidating and collapsing financial indicators. This data transformation process and the entire Zencos solution comprised of the front-end GUI, custom data warehouse, and SAS Visual Analytics platform provided the bank significant performance improvement and accuracy in their financial consolidation and reporting.
Prior to joining Zencos, Maria was a consultant at SAS Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from American University in Washington, DC.
