Durham, N.C. (July 16, 2007)— Angela Hall, senior consultant at Zencos Consulting was elected to serve as American Society of Quality (ASQ) Raleigh section chair for the 2007-2008 term.  Previously, Hall served as the chair of the ASQ local Examining Chapter and is an ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).

“American Society for Quality offers organizations, communities and professionals resources to continually improve processes, products and services,” explains Hall. “Serving as the section chair, I look forward to helping the ASQ Raleigh Section continually move forward.”

As the ASQ Raleigh section chair, Hall is responsible for overseeing all aspects of section management and leading all volunteers. She functions as a primary contact for regional director and headquarters. Her duties include appointing all standing and additional committee chairs, developing a section business plan and budgeting and scheduling general membership meetings, while upholding society bylaws, policies, procedures and the section operating agreement.

At Zencos Hall is responsible for managing multiple client projects.   Hall has authored several published white papers and is currently working on a five book series on SAS Enterprise business intelligence (BI) products through the SAS Books by Users program.   She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from North Carolina State University and completed her Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix in 2005.
