InfoWorld 100

Every year, InfoWorld's editorial staff names 100 companies that have made the best use of technology to enhance their business. The InfoWorld 100 awards celebrate IT projects that use technology in smart, innovative, creative ways to meet business and technical objectives.

The North Carolina Economic Development Intelligence System (EDIS) was developed by SAS and Zencos; and integrates ESRI's Geographic Information System (GIS).  North Carolina EDIS selected as one of InfoWorld's Top 100 IT Projects of 2007.

Triangle Business Journal Fast 50

Zencos Consulting was recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the Triangle ranking no. 40 on the list of 50. The rankings were determined by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, who evaluated locally headquartered private companies based on a formula that takes into account both dollar growth and percentage rate of growth over a three-year period. To be considered companies were required to have had at least $3 million in revenue in 2005.

Zencos Consulting Ranks no. 180 on the 2006 Inc. 500 With Three-Year Sales Growth of 646%.  The annual Inc. 500 ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

Peer Monitor Wins 2006 Models of Excellence Award

Zencos' client, Thomson West, was named a "Models of Excellence" winner by InfoCommerce Report for their Peer Monitor product. Peer Monitor is a service that enables law firm executives to benchmark their business performance to a named group of peer law firms across a range of pricing, revenue and expense categories.  The "Models of Excellence" awards recognize businesses leading the way to create innovative online products.

Zencos Paper Receives Best Contributed Paper Award at SUGI 31

Zencos consultant Angela Hall’s paper on blogging receives the Best Contributed Paper award in the category of Planning, Development and Support at the SAS Users Group (SUGI) 31 event held March 26-29, 2006 at the Moscone West Convention Center, San Francisco, CA.  The paper titled, “SAS Blogging—Finding Resources & Sharing Information Outside of SAS Tech Support,” discusses blogs and information they contain.    Additionally Hall provided information on the usefulness of blogs, guidelines on how to start and post to a blog, as well as links to several SAS related weblogs.  Click here to read the paper.

SAS Partner Innovator of the Year

SAS honored five of its partners that go above and beyond in providing business intelligence sales, service and support for SAS customers.  SAS presented its Innovator Award to Gold Alliance partner, Zencos Consulting LLC, for helping advance the SAS partner ecosystem and for its involvement in SAS product planning. Zencos worked closely with SAS to foster innovation throughout SAS software and played a key role in supporting SAS’ BI initiatives.
